WOW, face to face with Wine Library TV’s Gary V!

IMG_7456We’re pretty excited here in Malama! Yesterday Sharon caught up with Gary Vaynerchuk at his “Crush It” book signing in Greenbrae, CA. He was in person just as high energy and generous as he comes across in digital. Gary and Sharon talked about the video we sent him last month with a couple of ideas for Wine Library TV episodes. You can check it out too on YouTube Video – Ideas for Wine Library TV .  Digital storytelling is such a powerful tool to connect outstanding stuff, like the wine and ideas Gary presents on his show, to outstanding fans, consumers and supporters.  Part of Gary’s success is his faithful commitment to this storytelling, sharing great content with his viewers via video.  So when we initially contacted him, we decided to use a video story to show our appreciation for Gary’s show! As you’ll see when you check out our video linked above, we had a ton of fun sharing ideas and innovations with Gary, and we hope that he’ll be able to implement some of these ideas for the interest of his loyal community fans.

We know Gary’s book will be a huge success and he’ll continue to be an inspiration for entrepreneurs globally.   Oh, and we’re sure it helped his book signing happiness that the Jet’s absolutely destroyed the Raiders on Sunday.

Check out Gary’s book “Crush It” and let us know what you think.  Definitely let us know how you liked the video and how we could help you with digital storytelling!

Loyalty Libations

libationstiffwebThere is just not enough loyalty in the world today. And when I say loyalty, I mean anything and everything that keeps us coming back for more and commitment to anyone or anything – personally and professionally speaking. The impact of loyalty in its most primal form (the good the bad and the ugly) has created billionaires but has also severed long term relationships. Personally, I am continually thirsty for loyalty – thoughts, ideas, experiences, examples and impressions that have and will distinguish businesses and people alike into the future.

Ever have a serendipitous moment in life? For me, being loyal and enticing loyalty are as impressive as the stomach butterflies of serendipity. We give our loyalty as result of many factors. I will agree that in its most basic and primary form and function, loyalty can be achieved through price, convenience, rewards and incentives. But, let’s explore how price and reward only go so far. From my experience, best practices in loyalty are a special blend; a mysterious concoction that inspires, and keeps us and our prospects and clients coming back for more.

Passion, Personalization, Exceptional Service, Conversation, Trust, Authenticity, Experience. For me, the magic of loyalty, and therefore business to business and business to consumer loyalty, is all about relationships: Relationships between people, connections forged and the emotional conversations created from ongoing dialogue.

I am ready to have a conversation about anything and everything Loyalty. I am ready to share Loyalty impressions from past, present and my predictions for the future. I will comment on B to B, B to C and talk about things that impress me and things that don’t; world class experiences and less than mediocre efforts. I will share favorite stories, academic learning, memorable life experiences and simple loyalty pleasures.

A Libation is a ritual pouring of a drink. I will pour you a drink – wine, beer, soda, coffee, tea or a glass of water – whatever inspires you. And so, a toast to all things Loyalty as we converse, debate and reflect on Loyalty, what it means to me, you and the influence of the enigma that is loyalty. Welcome to the party. Let’s have fun.   — Tiffany
